How Medical Marijuana Works
Medical marijuana works by targeting the endocannabinoid system, which helps regulate key bodily functions. THC and CBD, the main cannabinoids in marijuana, interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors to provide relief from symptoms like pain, inflammation, nausea, and anxiety, depending on the medical condition being treated. Scientific research supports its therapeutic use for conditions like chronic pain, anxiety, seizures, and more.
